...sounds like Crack" and means "Good times" in Irish. Which is what I have been having all week. We walked to Dublin from our flat at 8:00 and had coffee- very strong here and saw e her off to her job on the bus. I had the rest of the day to explore Dublin. Bought tickets for the "Hop on Hop Off" bus which travels throughout Dublin with a bus commentator telling the story of Dublin. When you hear the place you want to see, you hop off and visit and then get back on when you are ready to continue your journey.
Cool. I went to the Ireland Museum of Modern Art, past Guinness, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Victorian buildings with bright doors throughout Dublin.

I also visited the boyhood home of Oscar Wilde, Jonathan Swift's psychiatric hospital that he built and eventually was admitted because he had tinnitus - the ringing of the ears -which was thought to be a psychiatric condition. When he died, the doctor that performed his autopsy to see what was happening was Oscar Wilde's father!
I eventually took the hop on hop off tour 5 times that day...
